Hi,

Since include path_to/block_name.php doesn't seem to work..

Is there a format for embedding blocks in the theme?

Thanks!

Aharon

Hi

What are you exactlly trying to do?

If you?re trying to put some php in a block, remember to paste the code without the <?php tags, then save as a php block.

Should work

Hummm... Blocks... So many crossing metaphors.. ;)

Via the admin-blocks feature, I can tell the system to put block from say, newbb, on the left, centre, right etc. of the page.
However, being a bit eccentric, I'd like to place a few blocks from various modules in a few specific places on the page. For example, 66 pixels from the top left corner..

To do that, I need to hard code the call for the block, on the theme page..(?) I thought that simply doing a php include will do the trick - but it does not..
There must be a way to code the call for a module's block without using the admin-blocks feature, isn't it..?

Hope that is clearer..

Thanks!

Aharon
