XoopsSessionHandler

After installation I got a blank page. Put MySQL on debug, got following message:

This page cannot be displayed due to an internal error.

If you are the administrator of this site, please visit the XOOPS Troubleshooting Page for assistance.

Error [Xoops]: Class XoopsSessionHandler does not exist
Handler Name: session in file include/functions.php line 488

Any idea what is wrong?

what version of xoops. sql, php etc are you using?

it could be that some files weren't copied to your server correctly or may have been corrupted..

Configuration as following:

XOOPS 2.0.10

PHP Version 4.3.2

MySQL version 3.23.49

Session Support enabled

Upload all files once more, did a new install, still the same problem. All files are CHMOD as required.

Any more hints?

Problem solved !

Installed the tar.gz version instead of the zip version, now its working. The file sizes are slightly different between both, is this a bug?

At least I am now a happy XOOPS user.
