Is there any way I can set my site up so that when a user selects the 'Contact Us' link, there's a drop down menu for him to choose who he wants to contact within the organisation rather than all mails going to one person?

For example, rather than all the mails coming to me, if the user selected 'Treasurer', or 'Chairman' (perhaps from a drop down menu), the mail would be sent to their respective e-mail addresses instead of mine.

Can this be done with Xoops? I've looked at the Liase module and from what I gather that can't do it? I've read over all the modules listed in the repo here but none state what I describe as a specific functionality. Do any of them have the functionality required?

Thanks

Ted

Liase should be able to do this i think?

Ah - misread the problem - I dont think it will yet... but I'm sure this could added - destination based on selected input....?

I'm quite surprised it hasn't been built into Xoops. I'd suggest it was a major requirement by corporates and government who now use Xoops. In my case, I've built a personnal site (which doesn't need it), 1 government site which could do with it but not essential, and now a corporate site that most certainly needs it!

Sorry - its Formulise (sp?) I mean - which is being fairly regularly updated...

This may do it already - but i've not played this, only liase which is the predecessor.

This is spot on. I've downloaded it and tested it out on my test site. I can rename the module to 'Contacts' so that it shows up like that in the menu, then I can create a new 'form' for each of the people to be contacable, i.e. Treasurer, Chairman etc so the user can just click the appropriate one.

It's not quite as ideal as a drop down menu each having a seperate e-mail address, but I like the way each can be configured seperately and permissions applied making it very customisable for each and every member of the organisation.

Thanks very much for that tip. Super.
