Hi

I installed my first XOOPS site a few weeks ago and I've ben working on it slowly since. It's nearly where I want it to be but my admin "general settings" cannot be changed.

When I change parameters under "General Settings" and hit "Go" the settings don't take effect. If I go back to the "General Settings" page it is back at the default settings.

I'm assuming this is because of file permissions or something.

Could someone suggest what I should do?

it's version 2
weird, i was just looking around in admin and the screen came out saying something like "This is the first time you've visited admin..."
I've been using the admin panel for at least a month, I guess it got reset somehow?

Anyway, after I proceeded from that screen everything is OK now.
