Hi,
I am tring to find Private Messaging module in XOOPS 2.0.10 Stable (released 23 Apr '05) but think the module is not available there. Also viewed Module repository and scrolled down the who P index but no gain. Please let me know if I can find a module of PM for this release.

There are some hacks available, but not a real module. This is only exists as from XOOPS 2.1.

You will need be happy with the build in system for now, or try the hacks (own risc).

Hi,
I tried the ver 2.1 but as it is not stable yet so using this one. Anyhow I can wait for the 2.1 stable release.

2.1 will not be stable. That development branch will be labelled XOOPS 2.2 when it reaches the stable version In other words: wait for XOOPS 2.2

You could try Private Message module that Pnooka ported from Runcms to Xoops. Download athttp://pnooka.org

It's still a beta version but i think it will work correctly.
