i just upgraded the to the latest version of the newBB forum and it gives this error and all the psot on the forum is gone

wht can i do or what have i done wrong

Assuming that if you upgraded from version 1 of newbb and ran the upgrade script, make sure of two things.

1. that you updated the module in the module admin page.

2. if still problems clear the template_c and cache folder. Sometimes still reference to the old forum in those folders.

And another:
3. If using a cloned template set make sure that you update the cloned templates for newbb in the templates admin page.

i have done all what you mentioned but cant still not be able to update the the forum it remains the same.
there is no template_c in the cache folder
need urgent assiatance

i just changed the template to the default and everything came back to noaml thanks for your assistance but how can i keep the cloned template

The template_c and cache folders are separate folders in your XOOPS root directory.

For a cloned template set, what you need to do is go to System Admin - Templates, click on list by newbb in your cloned template set, delete and regenerate the templates.
