i NEED SOME HELP, PLEASE....HOW CAN i CREATE A NEW MENU BUTTOM?


LIKE DE ONES ON DE "HOME, NEWS, FORUMS, ETC,ETC,"? I would apreacited any hel tahnk's a laot xoopsbros!

Create in the admin, system, blocks a new custom block and add the following html code:
<table cellspacing="0">
<tr>
<td id="mainmenu">
<a class="menuTop" href="http://www.yoursite.com/modules/yourlink/">Your Menu</a>
</td>
</tr>
</table>

Hope I did understand you right.

if ur new would it not be a good idea to read the FAQ and documentation.. you can find those links in the left column..

the faq has information regarding adding links to the main menu etc..

it's also useful to provide as much information as possible when asking questions

This is beginners corner forum. And it is only his second post. That's as new as it gets I'd Say.

First I'd like to say welcome to the XOOPS community evolution. I am not here to say what Monty's emotions were in his post but I'm sure he is just trying to be helpful and not rude.

Please guys and gals remember to be polite and watch your words. It would be sad for evolution or any other newbie to get the wrong perception of this giving community... right?

sorry xpider & evolution, no i'm not tryin to be rude.. just pointing you in the right direction for more great help..

i'm just tired and kranky at moment as my g/f is naggin me for being on here + i went out saturday mornin and didn't come home till monday night as i went clubbing and partying with the dj's & promoters, so she is really peed off with me.

1 word of warning.. XOOPS & girlfriends/wives don't mix too well
