I had a small issue with my machine, I won, but my XOOPS site I cannot get to run as it existed. The MySQL database still exists (complete) I should be able to get the core to run this database however I have been unable to do so. I have tried fresh install, database renaming. I built a pretty complex site...I would just like to use it again. Any help appreciated.

I really will need more info to help.

If you want to provide admin access and have a dB frontend I'll take a look at it, otherwise provide a description of what happens when you try and hit the site, debug info, version info (xoops, php, mysql) and whatever else you can think of.

O.K here goes...the database with my website is xoop2

I have installed XOOPS several times trying to reconnect the core...it will not allow it.

The 2nd database named xoopsbasic is the database I just installed as I am comparing code as to see where I have gone wrong.

You can look here....

of course if you just type the url you will get the new core of xoopsbasic

I had everything all nice and neat...but what are these silly machines for anyway?

Thanks,

Are you around...?

heh, never you mind... the uid/pw doesnt seem to work anyway.

Lock down your myAdmin, and PM me an ftp id if you are comfortable doing that.

EDIT....
OK, I hung out a while, I'll be back on later.

SECURE THAT dB.
