there's been numerous posts regarding upgrades today, you could use the search function.. there's even an FAQ that deals with upgrading xoops..

or you could read the comments on the news article..

quite simply, just upload em and then update the system module from admin as per the instructions..

You would upload them to the directory that you have XOOPS installed, over writing the existing files. Then update the system module.

Note: if you use newbb 2 or news 1.2 or later Do Not upload the patch files for those modules (in the module directory of the patch) those are for version 1 that came with the original installation of xoops.
