After sucessfull install XOOPS 2.0.10-debug with MySQL 4.1.10 on Mac OSX 10.3.9 I got two errors:

a)

b)
Warning [PHP]: fetch(/Library/WebServer/Documents/xoops/templates_c/%%20^200^200DC337%%theme.html.php): failed to open stream: Permission denied in file class/smarty/Smarty.class.php line 1248
Warning [PHP]: fetch(): Failed opening '/Library/WebServer/Documents/xoops/templates_c/%%20^200^200DC337%%theme.html.php' for inclusion (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php') in file class/smarty/Smarty.class.php line 1248


Solved:
1-b) change templates_c/ rights:
chmod 707 templates_c/ ( 706 was for installer it ok)
2-a) I got this error with premade database with polish collation. When installer create database all is allright, but collatin is latin1_swedish_ci.
