Parse error [Xoops 2.0 Bug Report] - XOOPS Web Application System

Hi there,

I just got through installing xoops2 on my server. Had a bit of a problem connecting to the database, but got it sorted out. Finished the wizard to the end, and all lights were green. When I clicked to look at my site I got this message:

Parse error: parse error, unexpected $ in /home/vccmth2/public_html/class/criteria.php on line 213

What do I do now, and how can I fix this? Please, someone, help me out!

I can't reproduce this error. Can you try and reupload that specific file to your server? Perhaps it was corrupted in transfer.

Hi Herko,

You were right... Somehow that particular file had gotten truncated during upload. Now everthing works fine, and I am exploring xoops.
