I made a custom block with just some html. This block shows up on some pages, but I want to make a shortcut in the header of my theme so that you can open this block from other places on the site. What is the syntax to link to a custom block? Let's say the block is named custom_html.

Hey BobDole, have you found an answer to your question? I have been wondering how to do the same thing. I have a feeling that it would require having a link to a custom script that would initiate and call the block. Either that, or make a fake module so that you can use the system block display. Just link to the fake module and have the block that you want to display set properly in the system block display.

Reading back over this, I realize that this has been a terrible atrocity against the English language and I apologize.

If you have found a better solution, please let me know.
