I have a weather module that displays the following message within its block;

"Could not write to cache file. Please check if directory has read and write rights !"

Someone else installed my intranet on our server, and I am looking for where I can access cpanel,
does anyone have any ideas how I can fix the weather module or find cpanel?

I also am unable to update certain modules - with the response being 'Unable to write to main menu.'

(xoops 2.0.6 is running on iis 6 windows 2003 server) We used php4 and MySQL too.

Cheers for any help,

Rob B

make all cache directories read, write, execute for all users.

If it is using phpmyadmin - where or in which folder is this likely to be? Is it through cpanel - im not sure where to find access to this..

Cheers again,

Its a local intranet and the IT guy who installed it on the server is away, is there a way of finding out where it could be?

is anyone able to tell me how to do this - or where I can set my permissions (im not sure where to find phpmy admin)?

I have no idea how to get in to CHMOD (I also though CHMOD was just for UNIX - im running on a windows 2003 server with IIAS 6) to change all the permissions to 777. The windows 2003 server has php and MySQL installed but I dont know how to get in to chmod or phpmyadmin,

What do I need to do?
Cheers for any response,

Rob
