How can i get some XOOPS codes to use the content in other sides in my site? For example: When i write <{$xoops_banner}> i can see the banners. But i need the latest added news, top news, topics.. etc. so i want to edit some modules for a news portal. What can i do with Xoops? I am waiting for the answers...

xoops content is organized in blocks (which you can set in admin area) and in the module's output each.

$xoops_banner is a general smarty.
<{$xoops_contents}> shows content of actual modul and the call of blocks are arranged this way...

<{foreach item=block from=$xoops_clblocks}>
<{include file="default/theme_blockcenter_l.html"}>
<{/foreach}>

just play around a little, perhaps have a look in a theme.html and see how it all works together...

have fun!
