I'm using Article Management System (AMS) 2.2. I want the archive page as default page (instead of the new articles). How can I do this?

Just renaming archive.php to index.php is not a good option i guess...

Simple, go to your Administration area, click the system preferences tab, and then select the AMS module to be your home page.

Maybe i have not made myself clear enough . I mean, when I press on the the 'articles' link in the main menu, i see the newest articles. I want to see the archive (sorted by month), which is a submenu item.

You could achieve what you want with multi-menu.
