I need a News Block

I need a news block that can contain the first paragraph of my article, not just the headlines. This block should have the same flexibility as a custom block.

Which news module has this?

Spotlight 2.2 does this. But you'll have to mess around with it for a while before it gives clean results. I use it on my website. I could post the template I use.

AMS 2.4 also has quite advanced spotlight functionality. The public release of this should be out in the next 2~3 weeks.

Which AMS block spotlights content the way Spotlight does?

The spotlight block does place photos and text correctly.

Is there anything else?

I thought that was the Imagemanager problem. I need to have a look at that 'cos it's really annoying. I used to use div floats.
