2.1 Roadmap Location?

Here's a pretty basic question for the Roadmap forum: where does one actually find a copy of said roadmap for 2.1? I've been looking for it for over a month now with no success. I've found various discussions on the subject, but as was pointed out, there's a big difference between a wishlist and a roadmap. Some of the requests looked really exciting, but implementing them all would probably bump the version to 3.0 or higher.

It's been well over a year now since the first discussion was started, and I'm sure the decisions have long since been made. So where might I find the core team's roadmap?

There isn't one yet, we're still working on it. This is due mostly to life interfering with XOOPS, but we're actively working on it, and this will be the main discussion for the XOOPSDEM meeting this weekend. So expect the documents shortly after (life permitting).

Thanks, Herko. Whew! Glad I finally broke down and asked. Hope you guys have a great weekend, and I know a lot of us here will be interested to hear the outcome, especially the roadmap when the time for that comes.

For any following this thread, you might be interested in Mith's recent post. While there still does not appear to be a roadmap for 2.1 (or rather 2.2 since 2.1 will be the testing phase), Mith's post includes a mini-quasi-roadmap . It also suggests hoped for release dates for 2.1 as "during May" and 2.2 "some time in late June."

We're waiting for Skalpa to come with his part of the dev roadmap, but yes, Mithy's post is a good start
