Please help with new registration

I would like my new XOOPS website to be only accessible to my friends. However, I cannot figure out how to prevent everyone who enters the site and registers to be automatically approved for access. Is there some kind of option that will allow only me the (webmaster) to be able to approve new registrations.

Look in your Sys Admin | Preferences. You can set it up so that a certain group has to approve registrations.

Each module or block also has the ability to be hidden or shown for each group of users.

Start out your journey with the Xoops FAQs, most of the questions new users have are answered there. If you spend a few minutes going though them all, you'll save countless hours and fustration later on.
