Ok, I also got a blank page, but very early in the proces

My installation log:
My box, winXP servicepack 2, windows firewall off, everything is installed on one box.

- installed apache 1.3.33, working ok
- installed php 5.03, manual install
- changed php.ini and httpd.conf. php and apache working together ok

- created database xoops_data, with user and appropriate rights

- started installation of XOOPS 2.0.9.2. All green lights until I click Next on the confirm database settings, then the blank page appears.

- I changed all debug options, but the blank page remains.

The database remains empty, no tables are created. Who can help me?

I can't help with the blank page but I do need to ask you to check out the Top asked question in XoopsFAQ and read the installation guide - you just might have missed something simple.

Ok, it works now. You were right, it was something very basic, although a bit confusing.

When I moved the php.ini to the windows folder everything worked fine! The confusing part is that c:\php is part of my path, and most of the documentation I could find said that would be sufficient, in my case is wasn't.
