I know I have read it somewhere but no matter what search phrase I used I just cannot find it anymore. Here's the problem, any text with '@' in it will automatically get a link that defines it as a 'mailto:' an email address (example@example.com).

I would like to disable the automatic assignment of a 'mailto' link so can anyone help?

Whew... I digged and digged and digged... finally found it. :)

To disable the way XOOPS automatically make text with '@' in it being defined as a "mailto:example@example.com", change line 134 (version 2.0.9.2) ending with:

"\1mailto:\2@\3">\2@\3");


to

"\1\2@\3");
