I need 2 forums.
one for HELP with categories and sub(problems and solutions)
another for Discussion with categories and sub(several topics)

I will provide 2 different button in Main Menu (HELP, Discussion).
So when user will click HELP they will only be shown(all categories and sub cat), and when they click Discussion...son on...[or at least HELP cat and sub cat will come first when clicked HELP...same for Discussion]

Can I set newBB up to do this task. How?
What are the alternatives?

to use newbb cloned would require more work i think..

would it not be easier to just create those using newbb..

create 1 category for help and another category for discussion and then create the forums in those categories..

then edit the main menu template block and add direct links to each category so that when a user clicks it it takes them directly to that category page and not including the whole list?

ie

Click Here For XOOPS community support forum

Click here for the XOOPS Module Support Forum

notice: clicking those links just displays those category's and sub forums and no others..

Or use a module like MultiMenu to create the menu, you want.

Say I am using https://xoops.org/modules/newbb/index.php?cat=7 link.
That takes users to XOOPS Community Support Forum(Category).
This cat has Beginnners corner , XOOPS general usage Question etc.
What I need is to also SHOW some subcat under Beginners corner, some sub cat under XOOPS General Q...and so on.
Is it possible?
