Since upgrading to the newest version of XOOPS, whenever I post a new news story it shows in the Latest News block, but won't show up in the news itself until I go in and update the news module. I am also having this trouble sometimes with the WFDownloads module. If it wasn't for the news module doing it too, I would have thought it was a problem in WFDownloads, but news was doing it before I installed WFDownloads.

have you got module cache enabled? after submitting, the article/download may not usually appear till after the cache time has expired.
