Icons for dark backgrounds?

For a new site I'm putting together, I'm thinking of using 4colorbiz by 4thfort. However, when I test the look and feel I notice the icons in the forum and other places have white pixellation around them. I remember seeing on PHPbb some dark-background icons for their darker themes. Does XOOPS have this?

You could look on http://xoops2.org to see what icon sets are available. They also use a dark background on that site. Another thing is to open the icons you refer to with white background in an image editor like PhotoFiltre and select white to convert to a transparent colour. This might clean them up a bit.

I found a few there, then went and grabbed some from the PHPbb styles database. Seems to work!
