Xcgallery - reg'd users cant create album into default categories?

As for xcgallery, is it true that registered users can't upload photos to Webmaster's default categories?

I believe the answer is, users can only upload to folders you give them upload access to. But your question will be answered by the dev if you post it at http://dev.xoops.org/modules/xfmod/project/?group_id=1156

I've tried to post my question there but no reply. I think Predator is busy with the release of NewBB module.

Any help from other members which is pro in XCGallery?
I don't want to give registered users the right to access to XOOPS admin section.

They don't get access to the admin side of things, everything is done on the front side of the site. If users are logged in they have the option of uploading images to designated Photo Albums, but again, only if you set the permissions for it.

I have XCG running on my bodybuilding website. You can register for a free account if you like and see how it works from a users point of view.

Sorry Draven but I really can't configure to allow members to create album in my directories.

Can I know whether can I create an album in your "Gear Pics" or "Supplement Pics" directory? The album I create only resides in "User Galleries" dir.

I just like your gaining-mass site soo much.
It's the best XOOPS site I've ever seen. Keep up the good work.

Play around with the module, you can give permissions to upload to any album you want.
