I'm having some difficulty modifying a mod_rewrite script to rewrite www.domain.com/modules/news/ to www.domain.com/sitetopic/news

eg:
RewriteRule ^sitetopic/news/article-([0-9]+).html$ modules/news/article.php?storyid=$1 [L]

I am getting an error: Selected module does not exist!

I've been through all that. Was up till 2:30am doing it. I'll have another look and see if I can find something in a more awake state.
