Hi,

I'm wondering what (and how) I have to do to share user's database. For example if I have

http://www.myserver.com/xoops1/

http://www.myserver.com/xoops2/

and I would like after loging on one XOOPS system to be online on the other.

I think I need to use one user table I do hack on kernel files (user.php)

Is someone can help me solve this problem ?

thanks
KubaZ

Looking for solution as well, multi-site hack isn't the solution. I have tried to my limits, nothing...

with XOOPS authentication system (ldap) you can share user database. that's the main news on the site.

to maintain different systems online simultaneously, that's another story.

Hi i am developing a Hack & Module for XOOPS about Multi-Site, i use to implement the hack to share tables between sites, download the hack file from here and just implement and check the files from "/class/database" and if you know some of PHP you are going to see how i share the tables, how is the mechanismi use, is very simple, and maybe you would be able to do it your self to make it work.

Today i cant help you, but tomorrow i will be able to help you with the code, so ask me in a PM if you need some help.
