I intend to go into work on Tuesday and install NewBB2 on our local Intranet site (that runs on Xoops).
The attachment facility is great for us because it will allow us to create a topic asking for feedback on a particular document, and the user can simply attach the document for all to see.
My question is this - it seems that when a user edit's his post and deletes his attachment (p[erhpas because he has made a revision to it and want to re-attach a new version), although the forum entry in NewBB2 is updated it seems that the original file is left in the uploads folder on the server (by default uploads\newbb).
In our case, after a while, we could end up with a significant amount of redundant data left sitting in our uploads folder. Is there a way of telling NewBB to delete the file on the server, as well as the entry in the forum? Thanks
