Is there a Welcome module for xoops?

This one is generated by installing the Invision forums into xoops. This is the type of Welcome module I am looking for :

do a search for bopcomments module.

The bop comments module does work and I use it on my site. However, it does not do all that you want. It only details tha latest entries across the site modules on a timed basis. In other words, it does not use a cookie to determine your visit. Therefore it does not record your last visit and only update content since your last visit. You would need to hack it or use some other code inserts to achieve the full effect of the IPB forum welcome script.

There are some welcome hacks on this site... not sure they emulate the IPB one but they will show something like the following

I think the features you ask for are in fact very useful and I think the best option is to develop the bop comments module into a user specific record of site activity.
