Why is it that only system blocks can be put in pages other than the top page?

When I go to the blocks administration page, then go to, for example, show blocks visible in news, it will only show System blocks. But what if I want to show another block from another module?

Also, another related question. Say I want to show a block in one page only. Is there a function I can call to say "Show Block X Right Here"

You can show them just about any where you want all you need to do is go to the system block manager and find what bkock you want you may have to look around until you can find it if its not on the main page it wont be on your first list.

then when you click edit it will take you to a menu that you can choose what pages to show it on



the only down fall i see at the moment is unless you show it on every page it will not show up in the user profile and this is a big deal to ma as i will be putting most my advertisment banners in there so i will let you know if i or somone else has a fix..
