having to specify the webmaster group really burns me up, lol... anyways, i guess clunky is a better term
just really bugs me that i have to go into the permission interface for each group, set the permissions for groups in each *section* separately, which means multiple trips to the permission screen due to how they setup the submit form.
i'd think that might possibly fall into the counter-intuitive category
also, i haven't tested it yet (need to), but i remember awhile back when xoops.org was revamped, there were several news categories that were listed in the Submit News form. i would fill out the form, submit, and receive an error that i didn't have permission to access that area.
that's a noticeable oversight, which pretty much discourages users from even submitting news, if they keep running into news categories masquerading as legit options.
AH, i just tested it again (here on xoops.org), error still occurs. those categories should only be included on a per-group basis, not a list-all-and-tell-the-user-later
