I would like to be able as webmaster to add posts to the forum as if I was another user. Reason: I have had some resent emails from some of my users that make up an interesting thread, and I want to paste them into a topic on the forums, so that the thread can be carried on there rather than emails back and forth. The problem is that I don't want to log in and out multiple times for each user to post all the thread. Is there a hack that I could add to the admin side that would allow me to add a topic and reply to a topic, with the ability to select a user from the database as its author?

This needs to be a webmaster only thing as I don't want it open to abuse.

Anyone done anything similar? Or does anyone know how I might achieve this?
