Subforum feature not working + forums not showing in the pull down list

Hi XOOPS community,

I have found 2 bucks.

1) when wanting to make a forum a subforum the pull down list gives me only the choice "select" and "none".

2) Created forums dont show up in the pull down list (under the forums) as they used to be in version 1.

I hope this helps anybody.

First you have to choice the categorie, the pulldown will update the forumlist in the "Make a sub forum of:"

For the second don´t know what you mean, if permissions set they showup where you want.

So I can´t see "bucks"

Hi Predator,

thanks for the reply.

1) On my version it doesnt update the the list of forums which you mentioned.

2) The second issue I believe still remains. If I am not mistaken thanhttps://xoops.org/modules/newbb/viewtopic.php?topic_id=27351&forum=28&post_id=118970
is a similar or the same issue.

3) If I am mistaken than you have an issue with the information flow and might want to rethink the user actions necessary to move a forum.

That should make the problem a bit clearer.


Issue 2 ) is solved.

Move to Category is empty ( select ) you have to select first this than all forums in this category appears in the second select form.
