Hi guys,

Does anyone know if there is a module or a hack to have an RRS page in the site.

Basically I want to have a back-end RSS page for the headlines of all the news I put on my site, so that other people can display my news headlines on their own sites.

Any suggestions?

backend.php came with XOOPS is just built for you to syndicate your news.

Hi,

I would like to make my RSS-feed visible as done at www.xoops.org.

I can see what code to put in, but where? There are no references anywhere to this as I can tell...

Simple, just enter the code where you want it to appear in your theme.html file.

One thing, though; It seems like some RSS-readers wants the MIME-header to be application/rss+xml to autodiscover the feed. This is not true for Mozilla FireFox, though (I love it!).

The reason why I mention it is because www.xoops.org uses application/xml. Maybe this ought to be changed?

this type of post belongs in the xoops.org features and suggestions forum, so the admins are sure to see it. I happened to read this thread, so I've made this change.
