What is the best news mod to use and is there a way to take all the news from XOOPS news mod and put it in the new one

News 1.2.x is the best and only news module there is. You can get it fromhttp://dev.xoops.org

As for taking what you see in terms of layout here on the site and integrating it with your own, yes it can be done through the template engine in your XOOPS admin. Or you can wait for a later version which will have the templates included to look similar in style to what you see here.

oh ok well I already use 1.2 I was just asking to have somelike XOOPS here uses so Ill just go edit the new article html under system or something
