Basic Editing questions

Hi there

I have created a html doc that includes some pics as a welcome message I want to put at the top middle of my page. The question is do I need to
1. Save it as html or php?
2. When I upload it to the site do I create a new block to put it into or do I edit a block that is already there?
3. I will need to upload the images and change the html reference to their source - any suggestions on where to put the images?

TIA

still wearing those L plates!

Jenny

Just stick it into a block, and place the block where you want it. Then you don't have to get those braincells to come up with a decision between file extension php or html....

iow::create a welcome block, as done on many other sites.....

(are those L plates for XOOPS?)

Yikes...I think I can do that...what is iow? and yes the l plates are for xoops...and php...and probably p plates for html provided i have a program to work with rather than go off the top of my head...

Thanks...I will try the create a block approach

Also, forgot to reply to 3: you most likely want to use the image manager

Hope it is working out for ya....and with a little practice you will get rid of those ugly yellow L's
