When posting News using the News Module.. Is there a way to disable the 'Xoops Code'? I have some URL's and text in HTML that has []'s in it. When posting the news it majorly farks things up. I've already tried the disable smilies.

Any ideas?

Hi,

Welcome to Xoops.
Could you give us some examples of texts causing problems please ?

Bye,

Some of the text actually contains..

Output:
<td><a href="http://www.corruptlogic.com/dl.php?dir=2954/Starwars Ep 3 Trailer FULL(8MBpsDivxHD-48khzStereo-16x9)[imegabyte].torrent" target="_new">Starwars Ep 3 Trailer FULL(8MBpsDivxHD-48khzStereo-16x9)[imegabyte] - [<a href="http://www.lokitorrent.com]" target="_blank">www.lokitorrent.com]aUpped bya>td><br /><td>61 Mbtd><br /><td>Movies Dramatd><br /><td>8td><br /><td>313td>

the is due to there being [http://www.lokitorrent.com]. The logic needs to be fixed for the XOOPS code so that is will NOT encode text already inside of a href tag.. Thats the difficult fix. A No XOOPS Code option would be a good feature. Just as html is selectable, so I wish would be XOOPS Code.

edit:
Oh! maybe thats not XOOPS code but AutoLinking
