help editing theme

I am trying to edit the default logo.jpg out of my theme but even when I stript it out of theme.html it still showsup on my mainpage.

I'm pretty new at this and probally missing something small here, any suggestions?

Make sure you have you XOOPS site set to yes for the "Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory?" option in the general preferences of your XOOPS System Admin panel. This way what ever saved changes you make are immediately visable.

The reason that it isn't changing automatically is because the files are all cached. So this means that every few hours, or minutes until the cache expires, the theme is still the same. The configuration that brash explains is common for theme developers to use, because it basically turns off the caching of the themes.
