themes help please

OK I can finnaly see themes chage but only when i put it so the user can choose it then it changes

This is only enable because I put it in allow view to users
but witout that themes never work

how do I make a theme I downloaded the default theme?

anybody?? please!

Also how do I make my news module but (the firt page loaded)instead of a blank one till the user elect a catagory..

example have the login plus news as HOME

You should be able to select the default theme from a dropdown box in the Administration -- Preferences -- General Preferences menu. Also in the same menu you will find another dropdown box that will allow you to select the starting module. I hope that helps!

By the way, once you make the changes in your Admin area, if the changes do not appear to take effect when you preview your site, hit the "Refresh" button in your browser to make sure you are viewing the most current version of the page.
