Where is the data for Custom Blocks stored?

If you create a Custom Block, where is that information stored?

I would imagine that is is located in one of the databases.
Which one?

I'm curious about this because most of the modules seem to store their block information as templates and then the info is dynamically inserted with Smarty.

If I wanted to access the date within a custom block, how would I do it?

Look for a table called 'newblocks'.
