[url] stupid question..

hi, i jsut got this problem while i was adding an url link on a new blok i've made on the homepage of my website i wanted to add a code like this:
CHAT!

but instead of getting the text CHAT! as an hyperlink i get this.. CHAT!

and i can't even do normal hyperlink what do i do wrong ? do i have to disable something or whatever?


sorry for my lame english and my little knowledge about html/php

do you mean you've created a custom block?

you could select/tick the box for html

and then put something like:

<a href="http://whatever_url.com">CHAT!</a>

thanks a lot i even found another way to do it ..the content type was set to HTML i changed it to auto format and it worked...dumb me...thanks again for your help..
