hi,

I am confused. The recent upgrade package of 2.0.7 to 2.0.7.3 just needs two files to be upgraded

include/common.php
include/version.php

Is that all thats needed.

well i had an earlier copy of 2.0.7 to 2.0.7.3 (before xoops.org site update) it had almost 30 -31 files, these were

edituser.php header.php search.php userinfo.php

class:
database pagenav.php

include:
commentform.inc.php comment_reply.php common.php functions.php version.php
comment_new.php comment_view.php cp_header.php searchform.php

kernel:
configitem.php user.php

modules:
system


Now can someone tell me which one is really working one?????
Which one should i apply to upgrade from 2.0.7 to 2.0.7.3

dia upgrade with include/common.php include/version.php is for XOOPS 2.0.7.2 to 2.0.7.3


but the upgrade with
edituser.php header.php search.php userinfo.php

is for XOOPS 2.0.7 to 2.0.7.3

You will first need to upgrade from 2.0.7 to 2.0.7.1, for the patch "2.0.7.x to 2.0.7.3" to work. That is why you aren't seeing more files, as they are part of the "2.0.7 to 2.0.7.1" patch, I believe.

Though I couldn't find it in the download section, but which is available over at SF

gah, that means the site is not properly updated :(

well can mods / admins/ devs can give more light on this.

and a package to upgrade from 2.0.7 to 2.0.7.3

Devs/Mods could you provide a 2.0.7 to 2.0.7.3 upgrade pack plz.... and not 2.0.7.x to 2.0.7.3

the patches are all there.. they don't need to provide a 2.0.7 to 2.0.7.3 patch.. if they did that then it would be feasible to provide 2.0.6 to 2.0.7.3 or 2.0.5 to 2.0.7.3 and so on..

just follow the instructions.. update from 2.0.7 to 2.0.7.1 and then do the upgrade from 2.0.7.1 like every1 else has to..

if you can't do that, then download the full 2.0.7.3 package and overwrite all files EXCEPT mainfile.php but then you would need to apply the updater to update your mainfile.php file to XOOPS 2.0.7.1 fix.. so either way you still have to do extra..

but where is 2.0.7 to 2.0.7.1 upgrade patch ????

I dont see it in the download section ????

I'm wondering why some people are being lazy to upgrade it? Or why they don't want the latest one? It's always better, people fix things for the future uses.
