By the time I explore the xcgallery module, some of the characters/letters are displayed as Chinese Simplified (GB2312), (as shown in the View->Character coding of the browser.)

These characters are such as turkish characters (ü,ö,). Does anyone have a clue how to solve this?

Thanks for any comments that might help.
