Xoops Block and DHTML? possible?

I am trying to place a DHTML ticker my xoop site.
Is that possible? I can't seem to be ablt to load the script in the XOOPS block?

Go to this website and see the DHTML scroller

using Iframe will be my last resort to solve the problem.

I've never had a problem with DHTML working with Xoops.

What kind of problem are you having?
Are you selecting HTML from the content type before you post your block?
Have you tried hard coding the ticker into your theme?

I just copy plainly the DHTML script and paste it into one of the XOops blocks.

it doesn't show.
I didn't edit the theme files, its only the blocks.

besides the link to the script i posted above uses Layers which i am not quite familiar with..

Will layers work under xoops?

I'll download the script and give it a shot. I'll let you know if I can get it to work.

Works fine in IE, but Not too well with Firefox. You'll need to edit the x,y coordinates in the .js files to get the scroller to work with GRE browsers.

Here's what I did to get it to work with IE:

When you past your code into the block form, add the following tag to reference your site's URL




If I get some time later, I'll look at how to position the scroller in GRE browsers.
