Adding Links in Content

Greetings All!

Whenever I add a link in any object (Forum Post, for example), clicking on the link always opens the target in a new window. I realize this is normal and expected behavior, however, when I want to link to something within my site, I prefer the target open in the same window instead of popping up a new window.

Any suggestions?

Hi,
You can use <a href=""></a> and it will open in same window.

Yep and the words or images you want to link it to <a href="">here</a>

This does not work when posting in the news module !

Help ... how do you crete a link in a news post which does not open a new window? How do you keep XOOPS from putting target="_blank" in the "a" tag???

I'm an idiot.

How can my users prevent the target="_blank" attribute from being added to every "a" tag in the news posts they right. We do not want links that open new windows.
