Hi everyone,

I'm working on a theme where the submenus (of the main menu) should be shown as a top menu. Main main menu consists of 12 (heavily modified) mypage modules ( from XOOPS for dummies -- thanks for all the tips!). Each of the submenu entries links to other modules (i.e. mydownloads or articles) and specified categories/items in them.
I'd like to keep the "submenu" for as long as no other main category from the main menu is chosen. Playing a bit around, I found the $sublinks array which keeps (unfortunately) only the last submenu entry. Now I'm a bit lost on how to proceed. The sublinks array keeps only track of the currently chosen module.
Has anyone an idea how I could proceed? (How can I create my own global array (of arrays) within smarty that is always available?

Any kind of help or tis is very welcome!
