xoops.org news module?

I like the way this site has its news writen (on the main page, below the forum threads). What modula are you guys usig? I tryed news, Article and 1 or 2 more, but nothing would shou the content ot my news, only the topic and some description with ... at the end.

It is the default news module. To show the news on the main page, you have to set the news module as the main page module, at Preferences of System Admin.

I don't want to open a new topic so i'll ask here. Im using the defual theme. Is there a way to change the XOOPS logo. I thought of uploading a replacement image but the logo is GIF and my new logo is JPG. Therefor the theme will look for logo.GIF when there is only logo.JPG! Where can I change the logo from?

Open the theme.html file, find "logo.gif" and replace by "logo.jpg".

Don't forget to set "Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory?" option to "Yes" at Preferences of System Admin.

Remember to put after working on the theme "Update module template .html files from themes/your theme/templates directory?" back to off. Otherwise your host won't be happy anymore...
