problem with popups in xoops (pmlite or any module popup) [SOLVED]

I have a strange problem, ALL the site javascript popups not work fine,
i deatived my firewall ,antipopups,etc but the problem is not that,

i push the PM option for send a private msg and the popup not show, i push a image in the xcgallery and the big image not popup.

in few words... the popups javascript not work.


is not a problem of my computer because the popups in this site (https://xoops.org) works fine for me.
my site advertising popups works fine too.

And the forum smilies not work, i mean, it no appear below of the message test window when you write a new topic.


any idea?

Problem solved,
the problem was dued to a third party Statistic javascript code.

I'm having a similar problem. I just upgraded to newbb 2.02 and now the PM function doesn't work. What broke it one your system? I can't even get the PHP Debugger to spit anything out.

Ive been out of the loop for while.

Is that neebb version like the one on this site? or is it just and upgrade to existing forum.?

If its like this one, there a lot of little script and dhtml issues. But Im unclear if that version is just like the one on this site or not.?

Yeah I think they're running v2 here. The wierd thing is that it works on another one of my sites, but not the other one. very strange.

Any particular javascript I should keep an eye on?

Im not sure what it is I just think its heavy.(IMO)

But you could be having a module conflict maybe? are there any different mods. you are using on the one that doesnt work so well?

I guess it could be a module conflict, what's the best way to figure out which module is causing it?

I thought about what was posted earlier in the thread and decided to switch themes for a second to see if it was something that was common to all pages...like the theme. Since it didn't seem to matter what was being displayed on the page,the PMs simply didn't work.

It looks like there is something in my theme that is causing the PM pop-ups to not work. So I'm gonna dig through that and report back.
