URL aliases for dynamic mylinks pages

This may be a stupid question, but I will ask it anyway. Is there a way to alias the URLs generated by the mylinks module so that they make sense to humans? Is there a way to alias the URL even though it is variable based?

I would like my categories to read like DMOZ categories in the URL. For example: http://www.dmoz.org/Business/Cooperatives/

Is this just insanity on my part?
