Cannot Edit Siteinfo ?

Is there any way to edit / to put some information in Site info ? I tried to modify the template directly, system_blocks_siteinfo.html (using common text editor), but it didnt work ... can someone tell me how to modify it ?

You need to edit that from within System Ad -> Templates. You might need to clone the template set first. Do a search on editing and cloning templates.

so, there is no other way than going to edit the template ?
(this is too low level for the people who dont know about php or html/smarty to use xoops.)

btw, I tried to modify the template directly, but the changes didnt affected the current site info.

what i need to do ?
can you link me to the documentation of that ...
