Default image directory for "Content" module (wysiwyg editor)

Anyone know what the default directory is that the wysiwyg editor in "content" is trying to search/upload to?

I've cross posted this question (asked it in the module comments). Regardless of where the answer appears I'll cross-post that as well.

There is a module that allows you to customise a form (or multiple forms) your users could use to contact you. The form could collect any sort of info that you like. It's called liaise. Not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for--but might work. If what you're looking for is "services wanted" you might try a "want ads" type module.

What you're seeing isn't so much a "wrap" as a collection of the above images (right-click and "copy image location" in firefox, to collect these--I think it's something like "copy image url" in IE).

If you have some graphics software skills you can simply surround your logo with these. Or you might be able to crack open your theme and look at how it uses these pictures--and copy that code to the area where your logo is (I'd go with the cut-and-paste in an image editor method).

phppp--I've no doubt your solution is a great one. Any unorthodox approach (like eliminating the left block) helps users creates sites that aren't as "xoops" looking. Good work.

There's more about this in This thread.

I just tested DonXoop's solution (from the above thread). It also works.

I was right about where the problem was--but my experimental solution (adding an if statement to the left column) seems to produce unpredictable results--I'd suggest not trying it on a live site.

You could also use the module that lets you dictate which theme is used for each module--and eliminate the left column from the theme that you use for the forums module.

If you check out your theme you'll probably notice that over most columns (like rightcolumn for instance) you'll find a statement like this:
<{if $xoops_showrblock == 1}>

Generally, though, there is no such statement for the left column. For some reason it's assumed. I'm not sure if inserting <{if $xoops_showlblock == 1}> would do the trick--but might be worth a try. You'll have to close the if statement with
<{/if}>

I've customized a theme in the past by moving the left column to just left of the right columns (both the left and right columns show up to the right of the center columns). It's a great way to get an "unxoops" look. This is one way to solve your problem--but might not be desirable in your case.

First, you can use any module (such as those suggested by Shine) for your homepage. You could even make the forum your homepage.

Sytem Admin>>>Preferences>>>General Setting>>>Module for your start page

Second, the forum modules have blocks that you can show on your home page (hot topics, latest topics, that sort of thing). You can control which pages these blocks show up on. The forum related blocks and their options may give you even more power and flexibility than you are looking for. Learn how to use and setup blocks here.

Third, it's pretty easy to add a link at the end of a news item, blog post or article that would take you to the related topic in the forum. There may even be an automated way to do this (I recall that there is but couldn't find it with a quick search).

Now that everyone has a blog--I've noticed (on many websites) that some of the more lively and thoughtful discussion seems to take place in the comments attached to an article rather than in the forums.

You'll have to do a relatively easy edit on your theme. I'd suggest you not do this in a wysiwyg editor--sometimes you "select" something you didn't intend to (or less than you intended to), with those, and get unpredictable results.

A search for "display block below module" would have turned up this information.

You might consider modifying a module like xroster instead of the XOOPS user system. This way all you have to worry about is destroying an easily replaced (just delete and upload again) module.

Interestingly someone posted info about xroster at about the same time you were asking this question: here.

Looking good so far. How are you handling your photo gallery?
